"Sustainable Development Goals" is a global call to action that was implemented by 193 United Nations member countries in 2016 and includes some goals that are aimed to be achieved by the end of 2030. These objectives, which consist of 17 different main headings, necessitate a series of studies that must be inspected and implemented for universities, which are an important part of development. This obligation paved the way for a new structuring within Bursa Technical University, as in many universities in Turkey. Bursa Technical University Sustainable University Coordination Office started its activities in October 2023 on this new basis. The main goal of the coordination is to ensure that all activities to be carried out at Bursa Technical University are within the limits of institutional, economic, environmental and social sustainability.
